TITANIUM ALLOYS WE OFFER
We offer a wide range of Titanium Grades suitable for various fields like Aerospace, Medical, Commerical, Aviation, Nuclear, Marine, Defence, Industrial, and many more. With every grade's page we have provided a datasheet for your persual. Titanium is denoted by the symbol Ti. The metal is silver in color, has low density, and high strength compared to other commercial metal alternatives. It is resistant to corrosion in sea water, chlorine, and aqua regia.
Titanium is often alloyed with Aluminium (Al), Vanadium (Vd), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Molybdenum (Mo), and other metals. It has high tensile strength to density ratio, commendable crack resistance, fatigue resistance, strong corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand creep-free moderately high temperatures. This becomes a primary reason for Ti to be used in plating of armours, aircrafts, naval and battle ships, spacecrafts, and defence missiles.
To be suitable for these applications, the Ti metal is alloyed with other elements mentioned above to manufacture a wide variety of precision and strength bearing components. Some of them are: fire walls, critical structural components, exhaust ducts in helicopters, landing gear mechanism, hydraulic systems, and many more. About two thirds of all Ti produced is used in aircraft parts and structures. Find the list of Titanium Grades Raykam Alloys offer below.
