Description
Raykam Stainless steel grade 444 is recently a trending grade in Stainless Steel series. The Chromium content is equivalent to Stainless Steel 304 which gives it the similar high corrosion resistance properties. With molybdenum and niobium, this Ferritic material is stabilised for gaseous exposures. This makes it a considerable option for exposed environment applications like Automobiles, White Goods (Refrigerators, Ovens, etc), Construction, and Architectural sectors where the surface is exposed to all kinds of natural and man-made substances.
The steel has ease of forming and good weldability. The material also has high temperature durability and can withstand thermal fatigue and creep resistance of up to 1050°C. This material possesses properties of enhanced hot mechanical properties, without the risk of forming unwanted microstructure changes at the intermediate temperature.
