STAINLESS STEEL
AISI 445 | EN 1.4621
Description
Raykam Stainless steel grade 445 is amongst the most widely used precipitation hardened grades in Stainless Steel series. The high Chromium content makes it a notable grade in the ferrite stainless steel series because of the corrosion resistance it offers. The resistance to rust and corrosion makes it a great choice for exterior applications in Automobiles, White Goods (Refrigerator, Ovens, etc) and Construction and Architectural sectors.
The steel is highly ductile and soft after annealing with solution. Although, it is capable of achieving good properties with just a single precipitation or steel aging treatment. This stainless steel possesses properties of good resistance to corrosion, high hardness, strong toughness and high strength. The actual material may slightly differ in specifications mentioned on this page, as per the manufacturer and location of manufacturing this steel.
